Hey Shift Workers,

It was great to meet so many of you at the Canadian Labour Congress conference this week! We also got a ton of great responses to our survey on labour journalism. I'm leaving the survey open for a few more days here in case you want to add your response.

We also shared the table with podcast producers from the Harbinger Media Network and Quebec's progressive news site Pivot.

If you weren't able to make it to the conference, Harbinger has uploaded podcast highlights from speakers like economist Jim Stanford, comedian Margaret Cho, and Amazon Labour Union President Chris Smalls.

Notably, CLC President Bea Bruske and her Team Unite slate were re-elected unopposed. CLC delegates also passed an affordability action plan to protect rent control, public services, and health care.
